I’ll start with two disclaimers:
Whenever someone mentions front-end development and my relationship to it, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, nearby windows shatter, and the room temperature drops by 10 degrees. I’m not sure why front-end development is so harrowing for me, and why, of all the things in my domain, that’s The Thing that triggers impostor syndrome.
Where has the time gone?
As mentioned in my previous post, I had pretty hastily set up this site by using a preexisting jekyll theme that I thought looked ‘nice enough’ to keep as a placeholder. The theme definitely served its purpose in bridging the gap between motivation bursts, but it was difficult to work with and the file structure was confusing and didn’t properly use a lot of jekyll’s built-in magic.
The theme for this site is a clone of this wonderful theme by start bootstrap Or, rather, the bones of it is. I’m currently in the process of updating the code to work a little better with Jekyll, as well as moving things around to expand that theme from a single-page portfolio into a true Jekyll-based blog.
